Before I start this post, I want to send my kind hopes to the 37 injured men and women now in Bahman Hospital.
The tragic bombing that took place in Dayeh today received interesting responses from social media platforms. I compile the good and the not-so-good in this post, hoping people would make more educated decisions in how to react to tragic incidents, so that we could develop as a nation in solidarity.
HOW NOT TO REACT:
HOW TO REACT:
We are all human beings before we are muslims, christians, or soufis. If you have something supportive to say or do, come forward, but if all you have is hate speech and violent attacks, kindly keep them to yourself. We already have enough of that in a country ruled by warlords and militias.
UPDATE: Some of the victims still need ‘negative’ blood units in Bahman Hospital. Please donate if you can. Hospital numbers: 01-544000 or 03-544000.
UPDATE: To join the wonderful people who are going to aid the people in Dahyeh, join this group.
